2-1-1 Texas is run by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. It is free, staffed around the clock, and covers all 254 counties. It is the closest replacement for what this directory did, and it is kept current by people whose full-time job that is.
Why this directory is paused
Texas Resource Navigator listed 282 individually verified resources routed to all 254 Texas counties. Every record was last verified on 20 June 2026.
This was a one-person project, and I no longer have the time to keep re-verifying it on schedule. The whole value of the directory was that a phone number here had been checked recently. Rather than leave records up while that stops being true, I have paused the site.
Nothing has been deleted. The verified dataset and the site are preserved, and the directory can be restored if maintenance resumes.
